Neuropathy Treatment

Quad Cities Regenerative Medicine focuses on facilitating the body’s natural healing process to regenerate and repair damaged tissue. Our treatment process is made up of four steps that combine to form the most effective treatment available for the relief of peripheral neuropathy pain and discomfort.

1. Stimulate

In order to stimulate the nerves, we use an electronic device that produces and delivers electronic, biologically effective signals that decreases nerve pain and allows for greater blood flow, which heals and rehabilitates damaged nerves. This reduces pain and increases the ability to feel your feet, which also assists with restoring balance. This equipment has been engineered for physician-use in clinical pain management and neuropathy.

2. Rejuvenate

The next step is to increase overall circulation by utilizing “Light Emitting Diode” therapy. LED light effectively penetrates the skin to stimulate further healing of the damaged nerves by initiating the release of nitric-oxide, causing vasodilation (widening of the blood vessels) to restore normal blood flow and circulation. This brings more oxygen and nutrients to the peripheral nerves to stimulate angiogenesis through which new blood vessels are formed. The light is able to travel deeper and penetrate your body in ways that cannot be reached by other means, apart from surgery.

3. Activate

This step uses different frequencies of vibration, balance activities, and exercises to further stimulate new capillary and nerve regeneration. This helps to increase blood flow to the peripheral nerves and the tissue they serve. It also helps reintroduce sensation and stimulate the nerves that help with balance.

4. Empower

Inflammation has been proven to cause serious health problems such as poor circulation, breathing problems, joint destruction, low energy, allergies, and a host of other illnesses. A diet that causes inflammation creates an internal environment where the body is constantly working against itself. Those with peripheral neuropathy have chronic inflammation in the nerves, blood vessels, and micro-capillaries. Step 4 empowers our patients to take control and ensure that their newfound pain-free health is maintained for the rest of their lives. Through nutritional education and proper supplementation, the body starts to play a more dynamic role in healing and becomes much more effective at fighting off illness and disease.
